Tracing the Buffalo Trail dual sport event. This event explores the best trails and backroads that Southern Indiana has to offer. This event will traverse 5 private properties containing miles of double and single track, all connected by some of the most beautiful backroads and byways in Southern Indiana. We’ve added new properties and are happy to announce an incredible opportunity to train with the two most talented riders in our area, Mr. Jake Baumert and Mr. Ryan Sipes!
Located just 15 minutes from Louisville, KY, the historic landscapes and route are steeped in history as the trace began on the east at the falls of the Ohio River near where the buffalo converged to cross the river at its shallowest point.
These private properties are off limits throughout the year, and the property owners have graciously opened their lands for this one-time event.
The ride will begin and end at the first property, and we plan to camp Saturday night. If you are traveling in, camping is also available on Friday. There are two fully furnished campers available for rent, and two RV sites with water and electric hookups. Contact the event host to reserve your spot.
Lunch and Dinner fully catered and includes fresh, local produce and meats directly from vendors and farms along the route.
Highlights of the adventure feature miles of trails, cornering and braking instruction from professional motocross riders and instructors - Ryan Sipes and Jake Baumert, private access to 812 MX Ministries motocross track for the training session, grass track, mile long creek & log course, farm to table dinner, awesome gifts from our event sponsors, and camping and fishing on the banks of a beautiful 4-acre lake.
Must have a street legal Dual Sport or Adventure Motorcycle. Aggressive tires and some off-road experience are recommended.
