3rd Annual Stoney Lonesome MC Public Family Trail Ride
August 22-23, 2026
For the third time, Stoney Lonesome Motorcycle Club in Columbus, Indiana is opening our trails to the public for a two-day family trail ride at our 300 acre private dirt bike property. All dirt bikes 50cc-500cc are welcome. Trails open at 8am each day. Mandatory riders meeting at 8am, 10am and Noon. You must attend one rider's meeting before riding each day. Trail entrances close at 4pm. No extra gate fee. Dirt bikes only. No ATVs or Side by Sides.
Limited Entries: Only 100 riders each day to ensure a premium experience. 50cc bikes (children aged 4-8) will not count towards the 100 rider limit. Register online to secure your spot. If registration is open, spots remain.
Dirt bikes ONLY. This is a family friendly ride. NOT race practice.
We will have three trail loops.
1. A fully bannered in beginner loop. 1.5 miles. Beginners only.
2. An arrowed intermediate trail open to bikes of all sizes, although not recommended for 50cc small wheel bikes. 3-4 miles long. This is the trail that younger kids and parents can ride together.
3. An arrowed advanced trail 5-6 miles along our harescramble course with some optional bypasses. 17 inch front tire or larger recommended.
Loops will be run in reverse on Sunday.
500cc MAX displacement.
Dirt tires required.
No Adventure bikes.
Cost: Online - $35 for one day, $60 for both days.
In person, day of ride -$50 for one day, $90 for both days.
Kids 50cc bikes $15 for one day, $25 for both days online or in person.
No gate fee.
Full dirt bike gear required- boots, pants, long sleeve shirt, chest protector, and helmet required. No shorts or tennis shoes allowed on the trail.
AMA Membership: Not required for this event, but we encourage joining. Schedule: Check in - Fri 6-8pm, Sat & Sun 7am-Noon.

Camping: Free primitive camping Friday and Saturday nights. RVs and generators welcome. No RV hookups. Facilities:
Access to restrooms and showers.
Pack the cooler for meals. Bring the grill. Fires welcome.
No concessions available, but Papa Johns does deliver to the club. Restaurants are also less than 10 minutes away.
Pit Riding: Leave the pit bike at home, please. No pit riding. Minors:
Riders 17 and younger are required to have a waiver signed by both parents.
Both parents must sign the waiver.
One parent must be on property with the minor rider.
Minor release form now available online during registration.
This is a nonrefundable event. In the event of inclement weather, we will attempt to reschedule the ride or roll registrations over to next year.
