Laminating Dirt Bike License Plate

Is there a way to keep your dirt bike license plate safe from being bent or broken off? Well of course there is and its pretty easy.

The easiest way to keep your dirt bike license plate from being broke is by making a paper copy and laminating it. Is this legal? I have no clue so do it at your own risk.

Step 1

Go to Staples or a copy store and have them make a few color copy of your plate.

Step 2

Have them laminate it with the thickest lamination they have. If you want to do it at home you can pick out a lamination machine for under $35.00 HERE

Step 3

After this is complete cut out your plates and use a hole punch to make clean bolt holes and attach it to your license plate holder. Tape outer edge to keep water from getting between laminate.

Conclusion

I always carry the real plate in my Hydration Pack just in-case I get pulled over. That way if the officer notices I can bolt on the real plate.
