The Southeast Backcountry Discovery Route (SEBDR) is anticipated for 2025 and would be the 14th BDR produced by the non-profit organization. It is expected to begin in the Florida Panhandle and continue north ending somewhere near the beginning of the Mid Atlantic BDR in Damascus. The route details are expected in the spring of 2025 and plans for this tour will firm up after that.
The Chattahoochee BDR-X was introduced in the fall of 2024. It is designed as a 350 mile loop allowing riders to start at any point and return there. Vehicles can be left at the starting point and be there waiting for you at the end at the end. The route is a spur off the SEBDR. The preliminary plan is to ride part of the south end of the SEBDR then join up with the “Hoochee”. We would take 2 1/2 days to ride this route then rejoin the SEBDR.
We are estimating a total of 12 riding days for the 2 routes but, again, this may change once final details of the SE become available. Pricing is based on the estimated number of riding days.
