This Dual Sport and Adventure Ride is put on by Wisconsin Dual Sport Riders. The club also puts on a Dual Sport and Adventure ride in June called the Ride For Research. This was my first ever dual sport and I loved it. It consists of both road, off-road, gravel roads, dirt roads, and single track. Make sure you bike is street legal. There are also “hero” sections for those riders that want a little more challenge. The club also puts on an Adventure Ride that same weekend for those who ride the bigger bikes. This ride includes lunch both days, and dinner Saturday night. I only gave it 2 stars for difficulty on the main trail, but if you do the hero sections the stars go up.

This event marked my first dive into dirt biking and dual sport riding, and what a great experience! With just a year of riding under my belt and a trusty Honda 230L, I had an absolute blast. This unforgettable event was the catalyst for the creation of Usdualsports. What made it truly special was the “Hero” single track sections, all starting and ending at the same location, allowing me to gauge if the section matched my skills at that time. Trust me, this is an event that deserves a spot on your dual sport bucket list.
