I’ve been wearing the HWK Dual Sport Motorcycle Pants for a while now, and they’ve impressed me far more than I expected at this price point. These pants strike a great balance between affordability, comfort, and real-world functionality—exactly what most ADV and dual-sport riders need.
• Durable construction:
The outer shell feels rugged and handles dirt, brush, and road debris without showing wear. The stitching is solid, and the materials don’t feel cheap.
• Weather versatility:
The removable thermal liner actually works, keeping me warm on cold early-morning rides. With the liner out and vents open, the pants stay reasonably cool for off-road rides in warmer temps.
• Comfortable fit:
Adjustable waist straps and stretch panels make it easy to dial in the fit. They’re roomy enough for knee braces or aftermarket armor without being bulky.
• Included CE armor:
The hip and knee pads aren’t premium, but it’s great that they’re included. They stay in place well enough for everyday ADV and trail riding.
• Good value:
For riders who don’t want to spend several hundred dollars on top-tier gear, these deliver impressive performance for the cost.
• Ventilation could be stronger:
The vents work, but in very hot weather they don’t move as much air as higher-end ADV pants. Defiantly a cool weather or winter riding gear.
• Armor quality is basic:
It’s protective, but some riders may want to upgrade to higher-grade CE Level 2 inserts.
• Slightly bulky:
Not a deal-breaker, but these aren’t slim-fit pants. They feel more like traditional ADV gear.
If you’re looking for budget-friendly, durable, and versatile dual-sport motorcycle pants, the HWK Dual Sport Pants are hard to beat. They offer reliable protection and features usually found in more expensive gear, making them a great pick for beginners, commuters, or weekend trail riders. More Info
