Finding the perfect viewing angle for a GPS or a Carpuride screen on a Suzuki DRZ-400 is a notorious challenge. Most riders end up with a bulky RAM mount arm that blocks the stock instrument cluster, forcing you to choose between seeing your speed or seeing your map.
At UsDualSports, we recently tested the NiceCNC Roadbook Mount to see if it could solve this cockpit clutter.
The standout feature of this mount is the positioning. Once installed, it places the Carpuride screen in a “Goldilocks” zone—high enough to be easily visible at a glance, but tucked away so it doesn’t obstruct your view of the trail or your OEM dash.
Like most gear from NiceCNC, the build quality is solid and feels ready for the vibrations of dual-sport riding. The installation is incredibly straightforward, taking only about 10 minutes from start to finish.
While the mount is excellent out of the box, we recommend one small modification: swapping the standard mounting hardware for thumb screws. This allows you to quickly remove the Carpuride unit from the bar for overnight security when you’re away from the bike.
If you are tired of compromising your dash visibility for navigation, the NiceCNC Roadbook Mount is a durable, budget-friendly solution that cleans up the DRZ cockpit perfectly.
