Metal vs Plastic
Personally I have a plastic skid plate on my KTM dirt bike. The reason I went with a plastic skid plate is because that’s what came on the bike and in 8 years I have never broken one. If you’re a fast rider that does a lot of log crossings or ride in rocky ares you might want to look into a metal skid plate.
