Collaborative Virtual Meetings for Motorsports Event Organizers

Pataskala, Ohio – As rising business costs and increasing marketing demands continue to challenge event organizers, Fuel for Thought provides a collaborative space to problem-solve and strengthen event strategy. Developed in 2023 as a free resource for motorsports event organizers nationwide, the program offers practical guidance on operations and marketing for rides and races of all sizes.

The Zoom meetings, produced by Heather Wilson Schiltz of High Gear Success, bring together event promoters and club representatives for focused training sessions and engaging group discussions centered on hosting successful motorsports rides and races.

This year’s schedule includes six virtual meetings that begin at 5 p.m. Pacific/8 p.m. Eastern.

“Fuel for Thought was developed in 2023 to help motorsports event organizers build upon their skills and develop a supportive community,” said High Gear Success CEO Heather Wilson Schiltz. “Whether they are just starting out or have been hosting events for decades, there is always something to be learned and shared. It’s been incredible to witness the connections made within this community turn into collaboration or cross-promotion between organizers. Schiltz has participated in countless rides and races over the course of her life — as a rider, volunteer and industry consultant. That firsthand experience gives her a clear understanding of what it takes to deliver a successful motorsports event. Throughout her career, she has partnered with hundreds of event organizers, assisting established promoters as they refine and grow their events, while also guiding new organizers as they launch into the event space.
