2024 BAT the Dam Kentucky River Tour

Info From Host

It’s time again to start planning your weekend at the annual Backer Adventure Tour. This is a free, unorganized adventure motorcycle ride that happens in a different location around the midwest every year in early May. I’ll be riding the route May 3rd, 4th, and 5th this year, and would love for anyone on an adventure bike to join me!
This year, we have rented out a farm near Lawrenceburg, KY on the Kentucky River to camp on! Camping will be $30 / night – cheaper and more fun than a State Park! I’ll be camping from the evening of May 2, through the afternoon of May 6th. Campging Address is:
1995 Tyrone Rd Lawrenceburg, KY

As the name implies, this year’s ride will take us north and south from camp, along the Kentucky River. There’s so much great history and awesome engineering on the Kentucky River! Much to see and experience, and a whole lot of fun roads to ride! We’ll also be in horse and bourbon country, so bring your DD and go enjoy a taste testing!
Reach out to me here on Facebook @BackertheBiker or through email @ [email protected], or simply post here in the discussion if you have questions. Can’t wait to ride with everyone in May!

his, you are EXPECTED.

Usually there’s firewood – and somebody paid or it. If you enjoy the fire, find out who paid for it and thank them ($$)

We’ve been doing this awhile – like, since 2013. Actually, we’ve been doing this for decades, we just didn’t have a name for it. We would just gather up friends, gather up our stuff, and go ride. Seems like some of us have forgotten how to do that. I really enjoy doing that, and want to keep that idea alive.
