2024 Cabin Fever Ride

Info

The 3rd Annual “Cabin Fever Ride” is an Adventure & Light Dual Sport ride in South East Missouri.  Located in Black, MO at Brushy Creek Lodge (South East MO area) – we will be introducing two new routes for Friday & Saturday (with a hopeful bonus 1/2 day route for those that want a little extra). You are more than welcome to come early, stay late, ride last year’s routes as well, etc. We will be arriving around 3:00 pm on Thursday and leaving around 10:30 am on Sunday – with riding on Friday & Saturday – or anytime you want.   The web link is accessible regardless of whether you have a Facebook account or not and will have updated details, as well as a way to register. https://fb.me/e/353VS0Aro   You may contact us directly at [email protected] as well.

Lodging (RV, Tent, or Cabin), restaurant, showers & bathrooms are available on-site at Brushy Creek Lodge (brushycreeklodge.com). You are not required to stay on the property to attend the ride. Additional RV spots and camping are available nearby at Back Roads Campgrounds in Boss, MO https://www.facebook.com/t822parker and at Johnson Shut-Ins State Park – https://mostateparks.com/park/johnsons-shut-ins-state-park as well as dispersed camping inside Mark Twain National Forest.

ADVENTURE ROUTES:  For this event – the goal of the ADV route is to provide a casual ride through Mark Twain Nationa Forest’s gravel roads, some fun water crossings, and a splatter of two-track. For those who want more aggressive riding – the Dual Sport Route will have multiple offshoots from the ADV route you can try. Just be careful on the Advanced or Extreme sections if you are unsure of your abilities – or are just tired out from a great day of riding and fellowship.

DUAL SPORT ROUTES: For this event – the DS route will use the ADV route as the backbone of the route but will include more aggressive water crossings, two-tracks, muddy holes, powerlines, aggressive hill climb, possible single track, and a little playtime around a couple damn lakes. As this route will be longer and have a more aggressive feel – plan on a faster-paced ride – and bring a friend. The beauty of this ride is the ability to switch between the DS and ADV routes at any time to make the ride more to your energy and skill level.
